Values

As a Church We Commit to:

1. The Authority of the Bible:  We value the Bible, striving to apply it to every area of our lives, and committed to teaching it so that nonbelievers find Christ, and believers mature in Him (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

2.  Authentic and Exciting Worship:  We seek to offer a corporate worship experience that honors God, by being both exciting and meaningful (John 4:24; Romans 12:1-2).

3.  Reaching our Community:  We value the lost, unbelievers, and unchurched in our community and throughout our world.  We are willing to use any Christ-glorifying means necessary to befriend, show caring concern, win, and disciple the lost  (Luke 19:10; 1 Corinthians 9:19-23; 10:23; Luke 15).

4.  Creating Community:  We value the building of authentic, Christ-centered relationships, and experiencing love, acceptance, and accountability in a caring community of believers (Acts 2:42-47).

5.  Nurturing People:  Caring for the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of people is at the heart of building up the body. (1 Peter 2:1-2; Ephesians 4:15; Hebrews 6:1).

6. Striving for Excellence:  We value a high standard of excellence in everything we think, do, or say, believing that since God gave us His best we should honor Him by giving our best (Colossians 3:23-24).

7.  Be Unified: We value and guard our harmony and unity as a church body.  Any attitude that causes disunity is sin.  (1 Cor. 1:10-12; 2 Tim. 2:14; Prov. 17:14; 2 Cor. 13:11; Phil. 1:27; 2:1-3; Col. 2:2; Gal. 3:28.)

8.  Servant Leadership and Working as a  Team:  Christ is our example of a servant leader and sacrificial servant (Mark 10:45; Phil. 2:3-11; Luke 9:23; 1 Cor. 9:19).  He also showed us how to do ministry in teams (Ephesians 4:16).
